Origin was founded by the husband and wife duo of Eftal Dirlik and Lisa Roux-Dirlik. Despite their vastly different backgrounds - Eftal born in Turkey and Lisa a native of the sunshine state - they share an almost twin-like, natural proclivity and fascination with visual storytelling through various forms.

This shared passion was the impetus to gather and present to you this heirloom collection of antique and vintage woven one-of-a-kinds. The collection you will find here is a collaborative expression of the commonalities in their natures, specifically the particular things they find beautiful in art and history. An attraction to the embedded stories and the unknown magic of a future unfolding.
